Woohoo! My first post on taytreschic.com. Before we get into this look I have to say thank you in advance for stopping by.
I love a good statement piece, and I typically buy things that I find unique. I enjoy playing into a few trends here and there but I also like to keep things simple. For Christmas, I received the most bomb pair of boots as a gift and they couldn’t be more up my alley. Now, these aren’t your typical boots for winter. These boots are a nude/cream color, and the stretch of the leather meshes onto my leg like they are custom made for me. The toe of the shoe is an almond-square shape, with the precise wooden block heel in the Helmut Lang silhouette (They are Helmut Lang btw).
These boots are not only swoon worthy but a reminder of one of my biggest lessons learned in 2018 which is to always trust your gut feeling. Not to spill too much of my biz but someone I was “dating” at the time was not being 100% honest with me. My gut feeling led me to confirm my thoughts, and guess what? I was right. Looking back on that situation I should have taken heed to the 1st red flag that I peeped but hey, you live and learn. So as I stunt in these boots I am reminded to stay on my toes. Literally!
