Summer is in full swing. The temperatures are high and the energy all around is electric. I don’t know about you but I like to spend my summer days/nights in NYC and the good times are unmatched.
Today I’m showing off my favorite summer looks for a date or time out with your girls. My goal is to give you some inspo for your next occasions. I’ll be featuring pieces from Greige. Greige shop is a black owned, woman owned online boutique which has the most chic pieces. Everything about Greige is my vibe and I am so grateful to connect with Brittany the founder to show you all some of my favorite pieces. Let’s get into these looks!
Look 1: Dinner on the water
This top is a must have. I cannot express how excited I am about this top. It’s versatile. You can wear it off or on the shoulder, you can push the sleeves up or wear as is. This top pairs well with anything from denim to a skirt. I chose to wear it with a crochet knit skirt that I thrifted years back (similiar) and a simple mule. Bae will love disss okkk!
Look 2: Day time frolic
You just left the farmers market and now you’re on your way to enjoy a gorgeous Saturday. Whether you are taking a stroll in the park or headed to a cute brunch I love this dress. The slit and movement is just enough and gives me a touch of playfulness. This dress can also be worn with sneakers, a denim jacket and even layered with a white tee underneath.
Look 3: Turn heads
I mentioned puffy sleeves are a thing on my blog post here and honey this red spicy dress checks off all boxes. I imagine your girls hit you up for a cute night on the town and you’re getting ready for the evening with Beyonce's homecoming playing in the background. I kept everything else as simple as I could because this dress is the focus. Get in to it!
