Skin Care Newbies & Empties

Hi friends!

Sharing some of my skin care empties and products I have added into my rotation. When it comes to my skin care regimen I like to keep things pretty “simple” and concise. I like to double cleanse, tone, serum, eye cream, oil, moisturize, and of course an SPF. I also am on a budget so like to stay under $45 for a product if possible. This post is just to share but I will link the products discussed. Everyone’s skin is different so what works for me may not necessarily work for you. I’ll talk cleansers, a toner, a mask, my go to oil, and a moisturizer.

Cleansers

Up first we have the holy grail of cleansers. I have used this cleanser for about 2 years now at this point. When it runs out I re- buy it. This cleanser is the Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing gel. I like this cleanser because it is non foaming, gentle and gets the job done. It does not get makeup off so you will need to double cleanse but I love it.

Sticking to cleansers I recently bought a mini of the Dermalogica special cleansing gel and have been using it regularly *whispers “I love it”. This cleansing gel may give my Mario a run for it’s money. I appreciate how the cleanser is gentle, foams, and doesn’t dry my skin out. With the seasons changing to warmer temps I like to switch my products up here and there as needed to lighten up my layers. I also like to double cleanse with this.

Last on the cleansers list we have the REN skincare cleansing balm. Now I like this balm for when I wear makeup. You apply the cleanser to dry skin and massage it in. After a few you add water to your finger tips, massage it in and then wipe it off with a cloth. After that you rinse and voila you are all clean. If you guys haven’t figured out I’m a double cleanse kind of gal so this would be my first step on a makeup day followed by another cleanser.

Toner

This toner I will mention has also been in my arsenal for about 2 years. I love it because it is that added step after I cleanse and I feel it gives my skin a nice “polish”. This toner is also by Mario Badescu and it is the Glycolic acid toner. This includes 2% glycolic acid which can help with pigment and discoloration. I have tried many toners but always come back to this one.

Mask

I mentioned this mask on my instagram story a few days ago because I love it so much. It is the REN skincare 1 minute flash facial. I have used this on and off for a bout a year or so. This mask takes my glow to the next level. I like to use it when I have an event that day or anytime I want to emphasis my glow. The instructions say 1 minute but I keep it on for about 5.

Oil

I shared in a blog post in February about Squalane oil you can read about it here. I am on to my second bottle and I am still as in love with this oil as I was back in February. This oil is my everyday vibe especially at night I like to press it in to my skin and the results have me glowy and supple. Linking it again in case you guys didn’t pick it up when I first mentioned.

Moisturizer

Closing out my empties and newbies list is the Tula Day & Night skincare moisturizer. I like this because it is very lightweight for warmer days. A little goes a log way and it is great under my spf. I think I will keep this in my rotation for now. The price point is great IMO and It is perfect for travel. Linking it here so you can read up on it.

That’s all friends. Comment below if you have tried any of the aforementioned products and let me know if you like posts like these?

I want to share more beauty content but want to ensure what I post is beneficial for you all.

Anyway as always thank you for reading!
