Spring transition

Hi Spring!

We are officially into spring. This also means nothing because the weather in the Northeast will still be chilly but I am excited for longer light in the evenings, and warmer days to come. I’m going to be honest with you. Dressing when the seasons change from winter to spring stresses me out. I mean you could have on a winter coat in the morning to sleeveless in the middle of the day. To help me transition into seasons I found an item I love and think will be a game changer for easy transitional outfits.

The long sleeved midi dress

Dun Dun Dunnnnnnn! The overlooked midi dress. I can admit I’m not a “bodycon” type gal but when looking for the perfect basic that could translate through seasons this dress jumped out at me. You can push the sleeves up, layer it under a cute trench or vest, add sneakers to it or even a blazer for work. I know you are just as wowed as I am. What also makes this style of dress an instant win is that you can get them in prints, solids, more flowy, more fitted. DO YOU BOO!

Below I will share how I styled this transition item using a few pieces I already owned (shop that closet), and a few new additions to my spring wardrobe. I am also dabbing into the utility trend but we can talk spring trends later! One more thing. I found some options online that you can shop too!

Let me know in the comments below what item is your go to for transitioning your wardrobe?
